Mick Catmull is an Essex Boy. He was in Sunderland at the time of the original Bunker working for a community arts project out of Hendon. He was one of the key figures along with Andy Gibson who were around keeping things moving along and generally being a damn good egg. He also got me into photography so all of this is his fault. Mick was also keen on keeping a photographic record of all things bunker related and has recently started scanning his back catalogue of black and white negatives from the period. The batch he sent me appear here.

He fed me on more than one occasion when I was on the bones of me arse as well. So cheers for that and the photos Mick.

Mick now works for the BBC and as a freelance film maker in the South West of England.
