Take 2 ex hi speed heroes and a baldheaded Scotsman, and what y’got? Patrick that’s what. A new sunderland band. Disolusioned, the unsuccessful hi speed heroes folded but have now resurfaced with the new bassist jerry, new monica, and a completely new set. On the name jim sez “we chose the name not because it conjours up images of n. Ireland, but because of its religious overtones, a lot of our new songs have religious overtones”. A number of gigs have already been played, the first of which was somehere near Peterlee last December. They also played a very successful benefit gig with I Breathe First and 4 More at sunderland Mayfair recently. The bands publicity campaign is already in full swing. First victim was metro radio’s paddy mcdee at s/land poly, where our heros displayed their unique talent at bottling pillocks off stage. This is the stuff that legends are made of, whatch this space…..
